AJ, is a Senior Business Consultant at Veeva. He is a data scientist by training and works as the commercial data analyst for the BC team in the APAC region, with 6+ experience in data driven diagnostics for the pharmaceutical industry. He is the Veeva Pulse data expert for the region. He regularly works with clients across 6 continents, and 30+ countries.

Prior to Veeva, AJ worked at ZS Associates for 3+ years, where he specialised in primary market research for pharmaceutical clients. He holds a Masters of Data Science from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelors of Computer Science. During his Masters he worked for NostraData to identify disease risk areas using pharmacy sales data.

Daniel is a Principal in Veeva’s Business Consulting practice and has held commercial leadership roles in the Biopharma sector for more than 20 years. He has led global launches and driven product growth strategies at JNJ, Novartis, AbbVie and Amgen, using customer insights, technology & data to identify growth opportunities and maximise commercial and patient outcomes. Most recently in his role as Head of Commercial Excellence for Amgen ANZ Daniel lead the development of opportunity-based customer segmentation and practice management models across Amgen’s primary care and specialty businesses.

Daniel is an advocate for equipping clients with the capabilities to succeed in the “new normal”, placing HCPs & patients at the centre of commercial & medical strategy, and using data and analytics to create value for their customers and patients. Daniel holds a BSc in Pharmacology and Physiology from Monash University.

Ian Kim is a Business Consultant at Veeva with 5 years of experience in Management Consulting and Product Management. His project experiences include Market Assessment, Market Entry Strategy and Growth Strategy. Prior to joining Veeva, Ian was with EY-Parthenon and Analytics Partners. He has a Master of Science from Columbia University in Management Science and Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering from University of New South Wales.

Liang Fan joined Veeva as a summer Business Consulting intern after his first year as an MBA + Master of Science in Digital Technology at Boston University. Before joining Veeva, Liang Fan worked as a Private Banker, managing investment portfolios of more than US$80 millions for Ultra High Networth Individuals. Originally from Shandong, China, Liang Fan attended Singapore Management University majoring in Finance and has lived in Singapore for 14 years.

Shafi is responsible for leading Veeva’s Business Consulting Practice in Asia, with a focus on supporting our customers' commercial strategies through the design and delivery of solutions addressing core business issues faced in today's market.

Over the course of his more than 25-year career, Shafi has driven P&L growth strategies and achieved transformational change outcomes in various roles within management consulting and industry. He has held leadership roles at PwC, Accenture, and General Electric, where he led global growth strategies across sectors to penetrate new markets; he built and led a digital/IoT Asset Performance Management professional services organization at GE Healthcare; and led the pharmaceutical R&D practice at SailWing Consulting.

Shafi began his career as a research scientist focusing on transplant immunology at the University of Chicago. He holds a B.S. degree from Saint Louis University, an M.S. from the University of Missouri, and a graduate certificate from Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Shinichiro Akaho leads the Japan Business Consulting practice for Veeva Systems. He has over 15 years business consulting experience partnering with global life Sciences companies to transform their engagement models and commercial capabilities. Before joining Veeva, he had 6 years of life science industry experience as CIO, Marketing head, and Commercial Excellence head.

Sushant is Principal Business Conslutant at Veeva Business Consuling. He has diverse consulting experience helping life science companies drive growth through commercial strategy design, omnichannel operating model transformation, digital transformation, licensing and acquisition, market segmentation and forecasting, market research, brand management, and commercial analytics. Prior to Veeva, Sushant was a consultant at ZS Associates, and Trinity Partners. Sushant holds an MBA in marketing, and an engineering degree in computer science.

YiZhe (YZ) is an experienced strategy consultant focusing on life sciences sector. His projects have been primarily growth oriented and with a strong focus on Asia. He also has experience as an in-house strategy consultant helping a global CRO to formulate its Asia strategy. In that role, YiZhe also gained operational insights by working closely with China management. Prior to joining Veeva, YiZhe worked for a few consulting firms including Monitor Deloitte, focusing on strategy consulting projects for large pharma companies. He also has a MBA from IMD Switzerland.

Khay Cheng (Khay) is a Business Consultant at Veeva with experience in commercial analytics consulting and data product development in the life sciences space. This includes data processing and transformation, data visualization, analysis and data product MVP development.

Prior to Veeva, Khay Cheng was an analytics consultant at Zuellig Pharma, working with clients across Asia on optimizing their commercial strategies and developing customer-centric data products.

Ryoko is Principal Business Consultant at Veeva Business Consulting and an experienced strategy consultant with over 10 years of life sciences and healthcare consulting experience across the Asia Pacific.She draws upon her extensive and varied consulting background to empower life science enterprises in propelling growth via Go-to-Market strategy, Change Management, commercial strategy, Post-Merger-Integration, Omnichannel operational model, market segmentation and predictive analysis, market research, and commercial analytics. Before joining Veeva, Ryoko held the position of Director and consultant at PwC Singapore. She holds an MBA and boasts proficiency in English, Chinese, and Japanese languages.

Meyda is an experienced strategy consultant with over 10 years of life sciences and healthcare consulting experience across the Asia Pacific and North America market. Selected project experiences include commercial excellence initiatives, market access strategy, GTM strategy, product commercialization and post-merger integration.

Prior to Veeva, she was a Senior Manager in the Big 4 Management Consulting practice. She began her career in the industry as a Registered Nurse in the US health care system. She graduated from University of Southern California with a master degree in health administration.

Iswan is a Senior Business Consultant at Veeva with a dual background in Science and Business. He is passionate about business strategy and exploring how policy and medical affairs can support an effective adoption and product launch. Prior to joining Veeva, Iswan worked in Ministry of Health Singapore, working on developing regulatory policies and subsequently joined Alcimed to lead the healthcare and life science consulting team in APAC, supporting clients in their challenges related to go-to-market strategy, policy, change management and medical affairs. Iswan is a Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist and completed his MBA with Coventry University majoring in Global Business.

Arielle is a Senior Business Consultant with the Veeva APAC team, specializing in Commercial Content. With an education in business management and marketing, she is passionate about helping clients optimize their brand content in the most efficient and impactful manner that’s supported by strong data.

Prior to Veeva, she worked in medical communications agencies as a Senior Account Manager delivering customized medical and marketing projects in alignment with clients’ business strategies.

Lin is a Principal at Veeva’s Business Consulting, where she leads the Analytics practice for Asia. Leveraging Veeva’s proprietary data, she supports customers in achieving Omni-Channel and Commercial Excellence. Lin holds a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and a Master's degree in Business Analytics from the National University of Singapore. She has published internationally recognized research on healthcare data in Asia. Before joining Veeva, Lin led global analytics functions at Zuellig Pharma and later at Google, showcasing her expertise and leadership in the field.

Xiaoyuan is a Data Scientist at Veeva Business Consulting with over 7 years of extensive experience in experiment design, data processing, analytics, machine learning, and data visualisation. In his current role, he specialises in integrating diverse data sources, building data pipelines, and delivering data-driven insights.

Prior to Veeva, Xiaoyuan worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at DBS, where he contributed to various AI/ML projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. He holds a master's degree in Business Analytics and a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science.

Fiona is a Business Consultant at Veeva Business Consulting. With over 5 years of commercial insights and data analytics experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Fiona excels in transforming data into actionable intelligence, driving commercial excellence for major pharmaceutical companies. Her expertise includes, but is not limited to, customer segmentation and targeting, omnichannel strategy, data management, and data visualization.

Prior to joining Veeva, Fiona was a data specialist at Zuellig Pharma’s Data and Digital organization. She holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Singapore Management University.

Viktoriya is a Business Consultant at Veeva Business Consulting APAC. She has a diverse consulting background working with clients on their GTM strategy, product launch, digital transformation, omnichannel strategy and change management. Prior to Veeva, Viktoriya was a strategy analyst at Accenture and Chief of Staff at a Singapore based tech startup. Viktoriya holds a BA (Hons) from the National University of Singapore.
