Dave Pearce is currently the General Manager of Takeda Oceania and was appointed to the role in June 2022. Dave joined Takeda in 2016, as a Head of Pricing and Market Access for its Growth and Emerging Markets (GEM) Division. He was appointed Head of Portfolio Management, GEM in 2020, in this role he was responsible for driving the commercial strategy for global brands, overseeing new product planning, marketing, launch excellence, patient services and market access and pricing. Dave is a pharmacist and health economist with over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry across in-country and regional roles.

Damian has over 20 years of enterprise software and life sciences experience. He joined Veeva in 2012 as the first consultant on the Vault platform and since has led teams in North America, APAC and China and Japan. He established the customer success function in APAC as well as launching the services teams in Korea and India. Prior to Veeva, Damian worked at the United Nations as they established their Knowledge Management function, IBM New York in their life sciences division and PwC Australia. He has a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Engineerings from Melbourne Australia.

Daniel joined Veeva as a Principal in its Business Consulting practice in 2021, having held leadership roles in the Biopharma sector for over 20 years at JNJ, Novartis, AbbVie and Amgen. His industry experience includes strategy development, 20+ product launches across Asia, US and Europe as well as numerous business & digital transformation initiatives. Daniel is an advocate for equipping clients with the capabilities to succeed in the evolving pharma market, placing HCPs & patients at the centre of commercial & medical strategy, and using unique insights, data and analytics to create market leading solutions.

As Senior Director, Product Management Commercial Cloud, Giorgio is responsible for the definition and prioritisation of the roadmap for all Veeva CRM products, ensuring that Veeva delivers the best-in-class solution for the APAC region. Giorgio also supports the growth of the region and the expansion in new emerging markets, investigating and understanding the nuances of each country. Giorgio has worked in the pharma industry for over 13 years, evolving from a leadership role in EMEA support, to Professional Services to Product Management. He has managed regional and global CRM implementations for enterprise customers in both Rx and OTC at Veeva. Prior to joining Veeva in 2012, Giorgio worked at Eli Lilly as an external consultant for 9 years, leading their Regional Support CoE out of Italy and building knowledge in Clinical Operations, Global Product Safety, MedInfo, Sales and Marketing.

Sudhir is responsible for Veeva’s commercial suite of solutions across the Asia Pacific. The market spans Australia, South East Asia, Korea and India. Additionally, Sudhir is also the Regional Manager for South East Asia & India and is responsible for customer success in the region. Sudhir has over 16 years experience working in the Enterprise Software and Pharmaceutical Industry. Prior to setting up Veeva India’s operations in January 2015, Sudhir worked at Oracle Health Sciences Global Business Unit in Mumbai. In this role he was responsible for enabling pharma companies to adopt strategies and solutions to manage clinical trials, clinical operations, pharmacovigilance and safety. Sudhir also launched strategic initiatives at Dr.Reddy’s, leading large scale field sales deployment projects with one of the earliest technology led Sales Force automation projects in 2001. Sudhir has held roles in Consulting, Sales, Business Development and Alliances with SAS India, IBM Software and IBM GBS. Sudhir holds an MBA from North Maharashtra University.

Tristan leads the strategy and direction for Veeva’s data products in Asia, outside of China. This includes ownership of Veeva’s Data Cloud and OpenData products in the region. He is also responsible for building and strengthening relationships with Veeva’s Data Partners in key markets. He has 15 years experience leading teams and building Data and Analytics businesses in Asia. He started his career as a management consultant with the Monitor Group where he advised Consumer Goods clients in the areas of Revenue Management and Commercial Excellence.

Martin Ugander, MD, PhD, FCSANZ is Professor of Cardiac Imaging at the University of Sydney and founder of Advanced ECG Systems, which provides the next generation of ECG consumer self-screening for heart disease using smartwatch 12-lead ECG with Advanced ECG machine learning analysis.

Felipe holds Master’s degrees in Marketing and Business & Organisations from Macquarie University in Sydney, equipping him with a robust foundation to excel in dynamic environments and deliver impactful results. Passionate about continuous improvement, he is dedicated to optimizing business performance through innovative solutions that positively impact Customer Experience.

Prajni has a diverse background spanning scientific research, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Data, analytics, and insights has been the core of Prajnis focus over the past several years. She has led transformational projects in customer engagement, operational excellence and commercial strategy through an insights-driven mindset and keeping pace with the data evolution we are all experiencing.

Ghay Haidar is a passionate healthcare leader based in Melbourne, Australia, currently as the General Manager at Farmaforce, part of AXE Health Services. With nearly two decades of experience, he has been pivotal in shaping sales strategies and fostering commercial partnerships in the Australian healthcare market. Outside of his professional achievements, Ghay is a loving husband and father of two, a passionate coffee enthusiast, and dedicated supporter of the Richmond Football Club.

Kate has enjoyed an extensive Global Pharma career with commercial roles across Marketing, Sales, Business Analytics, Omni-channel and Pipeline strategy in Australia, Japan, the UK and in Global head office roles. She is an avid follower of innovations that may impact the way we deliver best practice customer experiences in the future.

Dr Krishan Thiru is Medical Director for Pfizer Australia. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the innovative medicines industry spanning multiple therapeutic portfolios. Prior to joining industry, Krishan worked in clinical medicine in hospital and community settings in metropolitan and regional Australia. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney, is a Senior Fellow of the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine, Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has a Masters in Health Administration from UNSW. Krishan is an Executive Committee Member for Medical Affairs Professionals of Australasia and Scientific Board Member for the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs.

Simon has worked in the Australian Pharmaceutical industry for the past 27 years during which time he has held numerous senior positions across sales, marketing and commercial operations. Simon is currently the head of Business Operations and Support at Sanofi Australia Pty Ltd.

AJ is a Senior Business Consultant at Veeva. He is a data scientist by training and works as the commercial data analyst for the BC team in the APAC region. He is the Veeva Pulse data expert for the region. He holds a Master of Data Science from the University of Melbourne.

Arielle is a Senior Business Consultant with the Veeva APAC team, specializing in Commercial Content. She is passionate about helping clients optimize their brand content in the most efficient and impactful manner that’s supported by strong data. Prior to Veeva, she worked in medical communications agencies as a Senior Account Manager delivering customized medical and marketing projects in alignment with clients’ business strategies.

As Senior Director, OpenData APAC, Cassandra is responsible for the strategy and direction of OpenData in the region. Cassandra brings over 20 years of experience in business technology across both government and private sectors. Her proven business and marketing experience has helped organisations drive growth and change through data and technology enablement, product development and professional services engagements to a combination of ASX, government and international clients.

June is the Data Strategy Manager, leading the strategy for Veeva OpenData product in the APAC region. She drives the growth of Veeva data solutions and enhances commercial excellence for life science customers across the region. Prior to joining Veeva, she developed her expertise in digital and technology strategy as a management consultant at Monitor Deloitte and IBM, where she provided expert guidance to clients throughout APAC.

As a Product Expert for CRM, Jelson is responsible for aligning Veeva’s product vision and roadmap with his customers. Working closely with customers he captures product feedback and use cases which feed into the development of Veeva’s product roadmap. In addition to Core CRM, Jelson is also focused on MyInsights enabling customers derive maximum value of their Veeva products. Before commencing his role at Veeva in 2022, he held various roles across Commercial Operations, Marketing, Operational Excellence, and Trade Operations over a 15 year career in the pharmaceutical industry in Australia.

Johnson is an Associate Consultant in the Commercial Professional Services team. Throughout his time at Veeva, Johnson has been responsible for implementing, maintaining and improving both Veeva CRM and PromoMats solutions.

Prashant brings a wealth of experience to Veeva, with an impressive tenure of almost a decade in the company. At Veeva, Prashant is driven by a relentless pursuit of innovation and speed. He consistently strives to push boundaries and spearhead new ideas, recognizing that these elements are crucial in propelling the company, and customers forward

As Director of APAC Commercial Services, Rahul is focused on ensuring our customers maximise their potential on the Veeva Commercial Cloud. Leading an experienced team of life sciences service professionals across ANZ, South East Asia, India and Korea, he strives to ensure customers receive exceptional solutions and services. Rahul joined Veeva in 2014 and previously led several Veeva implementations as a consultant and was the APAC Customer Success leader for 4 years.

Rahul is a Consultant with APAC Professional Services team specialising in Veeva CRM, Veeva Events Management. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team, having worked extensively with life sciences companies such as Janssen, Gilead, Seqirus, Galderma and Indivior on Veeva CRM and Vault platforms. As part of the Professional Services team, Rahul is dedicated to implementing tailored Veeva solutions and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Shafi is responsible for leading Veeva’s Business Consulting Practice in Asia, with a focus on supporting our customers’ commercial strategies through the design and delivery of solutions addressing core business issues faced in today’s market. Over the course of his more than 20-year career, Shafi has driven P&L growth strategies and achieved transformational change outcomes in various roles within management consulting and industry. He has held leadership roles at PwC, Accenture, and General Electric, where he led global growth strategies across sectors to penetrate new markets; he built and led a digital/IoT Asset Performance Management professional services organization at GE Healthcare; and led the pharmaceutical R&D practice at SailWing Consulting. Shafi began his career as a research scientist focusing on transplant immunology at the University of Chicago. He holds a B.S. degree from Saint Louis University, an M.S. from the University of Missouri, and a graduate certificate from Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Sumanth Kambhammettu leads Commercial Strategy for the Asia Pacific region. In his role, he is responsible for evangelising & driving growth of Veeva’s solution suite across commercial cloud, data & business consulting by refining the GTM strategy, product messaging & positioning to enhance patient & HCP experience. He brings nearly 15 years of experience in delivering customer-centric solutions for pharmaceutical & life science companies, healthcare institutions, public health agencies, medical technology and digital health companies in Asia. In his most recent role, Sumanth led a healthcare robotics business for a Singapore based SME where he worked extensively with the local healthcare innovation ecosystem in Singapore. Prior to that, he spent nearly 10 years as a management consultant in Southeast Asia advising leading global/regional pharma, biotech, MedTech & public sector clients in the areas of commercial strategy, go-to-market strategy and digital transformation

Sushant is a Principal at Veeva Business Consulting. He has been helping commercial pharma teams in Asia with omnichannel strategy & operating model, market segmentation, go-to-market planning, and analytics to drive business growth. Prior to Veeva, Sushant worked as a strategy consultant at ZS, and Trinity Life Sciences. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, and an MBA in marketing.

As a CRM Product Expert, Yi Ching (YC) works closely with customers in APAC to enable them to be successful in using Veeva’s Commercial CRM suite of products. She achieves this by sharing the latest product innovations, best practices and understanding her customer’s business needs / problems. She holds customer success close to her heart and enjoys collaborating with customers and internal teams to that end.
